Megatronix was founded in 1986 in North Hollywood, California by Vic Gazarian, specializing in vehicle security products and accessories. With the rise in car theft from the late 80’s to mid 90’s, Megatronix’s business grew rapidly hence causing the company to move to a larger facility in Lake Balboa, California, in 1999. With the increasing changes and demands in the consumer electronics sector, Megatronix relocated to a more high-tech and better facility in Chatsworth, California, in 2011, where it is now currently located.
Megatronix is the
manufacturer of Megalarm, Viking, and Megapage superior quality
vehicle-security products and accessories. Our product line includes car
alarms, motorcycle alarms, remote starters, LCD two-way pagers, keyless
entries, data interface modules, and immobilizers. The company also has a
high quality line of car alarm accessories, wiring connectors, and
installation hardware, under the Megaccessories trade name. Megatronix
sources from the finest overseas manufacturers, with a great commitment to
quality and innovation.
Since 1990, Megatronix has
exhibited at both the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and the Specialty
Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show to expand the company’s exposure
domestically and internationally. In 2001 and 2002, Megatronix was awarded
the Design and Engineering Showcase Innovations Honors by the Consumer
Electronics Show for new technological innovations in the industry. Founder
Vic Gazarian also holds several innovative patents in breathalyzer,
tracking, and RFID technologies.
Megatronix has distribution
networks in the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
Domestically, Megatronix sells its products through retailers, distributors,
and expeditors.
